Karisma Kapoor’s former husband, industrialist Sunjay Kapur, reportedly died of a massive heart attack. According to the reports, he was playing polo when he suffered a massive heart attack. He passed away in the UK at the age of 53.
Today, the funeral of Kapur is to be held in Delhi and actress Karisma Kapoor was snapped at Kalina airport as she leaves along with kids to attend and pay her last respects.
The recent reports suggest that Sunjay Kapur apparently swallowed a bee, and the sting in his throat caused a heart attack. Sunjay was running a polo team - Aureus - of which he was the patron. He was playing against Sujan, which is a team run by Jaisal Singh, a hotelier.

Six hours before the news of his demise broke, Sunjay offered condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the Ahmedabad to London flight crash. His last tweet read, "Terrible news of the tragic Air India crash in Ahmedabad. My thoughts and prayers are with all the families affected. May they find strength in this difficult hour."
Sunjay and Karisma were married in 2003 and have two children – daughter Samaira and son Kiaan together. The couple separated in 2014, and their divorce was finalized in 2016. In 2017, Sunjay married model Priya Sachdev, with whom he shares a son, Azarias. He also co-parented Priya’s daughter, Safira Chatwal, from her previous marriage.
