After a strong start with an opening of Rs 15.5 crore, Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan’s Thug Life seems to be hitting a slowdown. Despite expectations of a weekend surge, collections have dipped steadily. On Monday, the movie plummeted to Rs 2.3 Crore, and it further witnessed a dip and collected a mere Rs 1.8 Crore on Tuesday. However, as per early estimates from Sacnilk, the film earned just Rs 1.25 crore on Day 7 (Wednesday), bringing its total to Rs 42.25 crore.

The minimal surge in Thug Life's box office numbers indicates that the film still has the potential to gain momentum. The coming days will be crucial for the movie as big players like Housefull 5 are maintaining a strong hold in the Hindi circuits.
