The mythological epic, starring Vishnu Manchu, boasts a star-studded cast and features cameos of some of the biggest stars in the film industry, including Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar and Prabhas. Superstar Rajinikanth has watched and reviewed the film, and his reaction was shared by Manchu himself on social media.
Rajinikanth loves Vishu Manchu's Kannappa
Taking to X (previously Twitter), Vishnu Manchu expressed great happiness that Rajinikanth did not just watch Kannappa, he absolutely loved the film. Machu wrote, "Last night, @rajinikanth uncle watched #Kannappa. After the film, he gave me a tight hug. He told me that he loved #Kannappa." He further added that he was waiting for such appreciation from the superstar ny writeng, "I’ve been waiting 22 years as an actor for that hug!!! Today, I feel encouraged. Humbled. Grateful."
The actor then said he is looking forward to worldwide audiences watching the film and wrote, "#Kannappa is coming on 27th June and I can’t wait for the world to feel the magic of Lord Shiva. #HarHarMahadev".
