KTM has silently updated the RC200 for 2025, introducing a significant tech upgrade in the form of a colour TFT display. This new unit replaces the older LCD instrument cluster and brings additional features such as smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation via the My KTM app. To support the new interface, KTM has added a redesigned switch cube with four buttons, allowing riders to navigate the console menus more efficiently. This update marks a notable step forward in terms of rider convenience and connectivity for the RC200.
Mechanically, the motorcycle remains unchanged. It continues to use the 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 25.4 BHP and 19.5 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are handled by WP Apex USD forks at the front and a WP mono-shock at the rear. Braking is managed by disc brakes on both wheels, supported by a dual-channel ABS system.
At Rs 2.54 Lakh (ex-showroom), the updated RC200 is priced Rs 11,000 higher than the outgoing model. With these changes, the KTM RC200 aims to strengthen its position in the entry-level sports bike segment, where it competes with models like the Yamaha R15 and Suzuki Gixxer SF 250. The update is expected to appeal to riders looking for more advanced features in a compact sportbike.
