Vijay Deverakonda 'Happy' To Receive Gaddar Telangana Film Award, Drops Smiling Pic With Allu Arjun

The first-ever Gaddar Telangana Film Awards took place in a glittering ceremony at Hyderabad’s Hitex on Saturday, June 14. Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy led the celebrations, joined by Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and Film Development Corporation Chairman Dil Raju, as winners were honoured with their trophies in a star-studded night. At the ceremony, Vijay Deverakonda was conferred with the Kantha Rao Film Award. Now, the Dear Comrade actor has treated his fans to pictures from the ceremony and also penned a heartfelt note. He also shared a pic with Allu Arjun, with whom he shared a strong bond.

Taking to his official Instagram handle on Sunday evening, Vijay wrote, "Telangana State Gaddar Awards. Honoured. Happy and working hard to payback all the love and acknowledgement.My respect to the late legendary Kantha Rao garu. Special Thanks and my respects to the Honourable CM @revanthofficial garu, Deputy CM @bhatti_vikramarka garu for the warmth and affection."

In the pictures shared alongside the post, Vijay was seen posing with the shining award, looking stunning in black Sherwani. He also shared some pics from the award ceremony where he was honoured with the trophy. In one of the memorable pics from the event, he was seen sharing a lighthearted moment with Allu Arjun, with whom he shares a strong bond.

Meanwhile, speaking about the work front, Vijay Deverakonda is currently shooting for Kingdom, a spy thriller helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. Touted as the first of a two-part saga, the film also stars Bhagyashri Borse and Satyadev. Originally slated for a May 30, 2025, release, it will now hit theatres on July 4, 2025.

Apart from Kingdom, Vijay is also working on Rahul Sankrityan’s VD14, set in colonial India, and SVC 59 with director Ravi Kiran Kola. He was recently seen in a cameo in Kalki 2898 AD.
