Who Is Brandon Moore? Missing English Rugby Star's Wife Issues Urgent Plea

Brandon Moore, a West Yorkshire-based rugby player who represents the Batley Bulldogs in the Championship, has gone missing, his wife, Mara Moore, claimed in a post on Facebook. The 28-year-old has not been seen by his family since Thursday and an 'urgent' search has reportedly been launched for him.

"I usually wouldn’t ever post anything on here like this, but family and friends haven’t seen or heard of him and hoping maybe someone’s seen sightings of him and can message me?" she said, adding that they have contacted the police and at the time of writing the post, Brandon Moore was missing for 14 hours.

"I have a 7-week-old baby at home and 2 others, so I can’t go hunting myself other than a car ride," she added.

Who Is Brandon Moore?

Brandon Moore is originally from Maryport, Cumbria. He began his professional rugby career with Halifax in 2016, making 188 appearances and scoring 33 tries over eight seasons. He also had a brief loan spell with Huddersfield Giants in 2020. One of the highlights of his time with Halifax was contributing to the team's victory in the 1895 Cup at Wembley Stadium in 2023.

In January 2024, he signed with the Batley Bulldogs, where he has made 32 appearances and scored 5 tries. So far, he has contributed 20 points to the team. He was notably absent from the Bulldogs' Championship match against Toulouse Olympique on Saturday, despite being named in the squad.
