Following Iran’s recent attack, first responders are currently addressing reports of missile impacts in the Haifa region in Israel. Iranwire has reported that several ballistic missile strikes hit an oil refinery in Haifa. Official confirmation is pending at this point. Times Now cannot independently confirm whether the missile strikes targeted the Haifa Oil Refinery.
Magen David Adom, Israel's national emergency service, has not reported any injuries at this time but is en route to inspect two suspected impact sites. The Fire and Rescue Service is also responding to reports of structural damage and a fire in an open area.
Haifa Oil Refinery is also the location where 39–41 Jewish refinery workers were killed by their Arab coworkers in a mass lynching on 30 December 1947.
Israel and Iran have been exchanging strikes since Friday, heightening concerns of a broader conflict that could potentially involve the United States and other global powers. This latest conflict began after Israel launched pre-emptive strikes on multiple Iranian nuclear facilities and killed a high-ranking official.
This is breaking news and will be updated with more details.
